The powerful, spicy flavour of Swiss nature, characterised by a tradition dating back 150 years – this is our world. Our roots are our passion for the finest Swiss artisan cheese, a desire to achieve hand-crafted perfection and 100 percent natural cheese produced according to old family tradition dating back to the year 1862. In complete contrast to industrial cheese production, when it comes to artisan cheese we let nature show the way – to capture the flavour of nature, to pursue it and refine it - this is the true art of cheese.

A concept that doesn't fail to impress: this was also the case at this year's World Cheese Awards in Birmingham. the judging panel awarded our Lustenberger 1862 fruity-tangy a gold medal. The fruity-tangy original from the Lustenberger 1862 product range inspires with aromas of citrus and apricot. Softly melting on the tongue, the notes of fresh pasture milk gently unfold.

Our Lustenberger 1862 sweet and nutty receives a silver award. The full, aromatic delicacy impresses with a floral fragrance and a nutty flavour with a touch of vanilla.

he World Cheese Awards, organised by the "Guild of Fine Food" took place on 26 November 2015 in Birmingham, England. 250 experts assessed around 2,700 speciality cheeses.
